There is nothing like…

This feeling. Right now. 🙂 I love knowing that I will be typing “THE END” at the end of a manuscript in the next week. It’s…thrilling.

I have really enjoyed writing Scarlet’s story. I admire her drive and focus in pursuing her interior design dreams. She is the picture of determination, even when she keeps running into a very handsome distraction…hmm…what will she do about it?

You won’t have long to wait. The Amazon listing for “Running to the Rescue” shows a release date of July 4th, but I am confident enough to share that it’ll be July 1st. THAT means…that book boxes will be in my Etsy shop before that, in order for you to get the paperback by release day.

At this time in my process, I am excitedly writing the final chapters of the book. I have dates in my head like…the date I will be sending it to the Beta Team, the date my editor wants it, and the date I’ll send the book to my ARC and Street teams. And, probably one of the most exciting things is that moment when the Amazon truck stops in front of my house and I nearly attack him on the lawn because he’s bringing me the first copy of my book.

What a wonderful feeling!

Applications are open for my ARC Team right now. Click up top and read about what it entails. You’ll get a free e-book and I’ll need you to read it, send me feedback, and post reviews on Amazon. All of these things help me as an author.

Now I have to get back to work. I left Scarlet and Andrew in the middle of Golden Gate Park and, oh….what are they watching? Is that a Royal Rebels concert?

  • Hello, 2024!

Y’all, I can’t tell you how many years I’ve been saying “I need/want to publish something!” My fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Vanderkam, would be mortified to know that I am still an unpublished writer. She was the first teacher of many to tell my mom “This kid is a writer” during parent/teacher conferences. Sorry, Mrs….

I can’t believe I get to say this, but “How to Date a Mermaid” is just two days from release!! There are already copies out there in the wild, if you were lucky enough to snag one of the limited edition launch boxes on Etsy (they’re all sold out now). I’m so excited every time…
