The San Francisco Hearts series is done! I’m so excited to have completed my first book series. It feels like just yesterday I published How to Date a Mermaid and now the whole thing is done. This post is intended as a guide for readers just started out in the series, or for those of you who are re-readers like me.

While all the books except for Happily Ever After in the Hollow can be read in any order, here is the order in which they were published…and the order in which the friends get their stories:
- How to Date a Mermaid
- Fake It Till You Make It
- Running to the Rescue
- Happily Ever After in the Hollow
- Merry & Bright
There’s also a ton of bonus content available for these books. In December of 2025, I gifted my newsletter subscribers with one extra scene of bonus content each week. Readers must be subscribed to my weekly newsletter in order to have access to all bonus content. If you really want to, you can subscribe and then unsubscribe…but I’d love for you to stay a subscriber so you get the scoop on new releases and behind the scenes content. So here’s the list:
Bonus Content at the End of the Books:
- How to Date a Mermaid Bonus Content: Chapter 22 in Marina’s POV
- Fake It Till You Make It Bonus Content: None (I’m not sure how that happened)
- Running to the Rescue Bonus Content: Scarlet’s wedding
- Happily Ever After in the Hollow Bonus Content: None
- Merry & Bright Bonus Content: How to Date Happily Ever After (a two part end of series finale)
Extra Bonus Content 2025:
- From Friend Zone to Forever (Ashley’s wedding)
- Saying Yes to the Dress (Shopping for Merry’s Wedding Dress)
- Let’s Get Merried (Merry’s wedding)
- Once Upon a Christmas Eve (Christmas Eve lunch with the whole gang)
- Kiss Me at Midnight (New Year’s Eve in Lake Tahoe)
There just aren’t enough words to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed sharing these stories with you. Thank you so much for reading and for sharing your thoughts with me as you’ve read them. While this is all the content there is for now, I am pretty sure I won’t ever be completely done writing these characters. They’ll be back once in a while. 🙂
Thanks for loving the San Francisco Hearts gang!
